Cowboy Church
Cowboy Churches are one of the fastest growing non-traditional church groups in North Carolina. The goal is to reach the Cowboy culture and anyone who will listen. Instead of meeting in a tradional church building, The Great American Cowboy Church meets in a horse barn and riding arena.
People sit in fold-up chairs, dress in Cowboy hats, regular hats, wear tennis shoes, boots, and wear casual clothes. Worship services include a flag ceremony on horseback, an opening song by Lee Greenwood, great music by local groups, an evening offering, and a simple Bible message. Our authority is the Bible and our commitment is to Jesus Christ.
